Jennifer McElwaney is one of only 10 students in the nation to receive a President’s Scholarship from Kappa Delta Pi, an international educational honor society.

McElwaney will receive $500 in scholarship funding. Earlier this year, McElwaney received the Floreine Hudson National Scholarship from Kappa Delta Epsilon, an honorary professional education fraternity.

McElwaney, of Carrollton, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
