Jenny Wu named Saeeda Peermahomed Award semi-finalist

Counseling Psychology student Jenny Wu was recognized as a semi-finalist for the Saeeda Peermahomed Award given by UGA’s Office of International Student Life.

The award is given annually to an international student in recognition of outstanding scholarship, leadership, and service in the field of international education.

Wu was nominated for her work as the president of the Taiwanese student association, her work to establish an international student support group, and her research. She is a native of Taiwan and is a second-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program.
