The College of Education Juvenile Counseling and Assessment Program (JCAP) and Gaining Insight into Relationships for Lifelong Success (GIRLS) participated in the Association for Assessment in Counseling and Education (AACE) National
Conference, Norfolk, Va., September 11-12.
UGA was recognized at the keynote luncheon for having the largest group of students at the conference. All 13 UGA graduate students presented papers at the conference.
A collaborative program among the College of Education, Clarke County Juvenile Court, and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice since 1994, JCAP/GIRLS is directed by Georgia B. Calhoun and Brian A. Glaser, professors in the department of counseling and human development services.
