Jennifer McElwaney received the Floreine Hudson National Scholarship and Kathryn Otrosina was awarded the Lynda Goodwin Scholarship, both in the amount of $750. The awards support students who demonstrate excellence in academia and service in pursuit of a degree in education. McElwaney, of Carrollton, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She serves as parliamentarian in UGA’s Alpha Epsilon Chapter of KDE. Otrosina, of Watkinsville, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science and social science education. She is secretary of the UGA chapter. |
