Keeping up with your students
www.uga.edu/sga
The Web site for UGA’s Student Government Association offers a great deal of useful information--lists of SGA officers and committees, by-laws, answers to frequently asked questions and the like.
In addition, SGA posts a table of grade distributions by UGA course at the end of each semester, including number of students in the class, number of each grade given and average class grade. This information, called “The Key,” is compiled and posted here.
But the site also offers links to numerous off-campus compilations that are attempting--some with greater success than others--to attract students. There are nationwide teaching evaluations, class notes and textbook suppliers. Although many of these sites have only a few submissions from UGA so far, they offer a glance at the online future.
