Reading e-mail on the Web
www.arches.uga.edu
UCNS has launched a Web interface to the ARCHES e-mail system, making it easier for ARCHES users to access their e-mail from home or on the road. No special software or configuration is needed. Faculty, staff and students can check their e-mail using any computer with a Web browser and access to the Internet.
On the ARCHES Web site there is now a place to type in a username and password. That will bring up the Web mail interface. Click on the mail header at the top to see the mail contents. You may need to scroll to the bottom half of the screen to see an entire message, and you may need to readjust the lower section of the screen by clicking and dragging on the top half of the lower window. Once you have read a message you can reply, forward or delete the message as usual, using the on-screen buttons. You can also manage your account--changing your password, arranging vacation settings, checking disk space. Contact the UCNS helpdesk (www.uga.edu/ucns/mail-forms/mail-ucns.html; 542-3106) for more information.
