Honors on display
www.uga.edu/honors/
UGA’s Honors Program has launched a new well-crafted Web site that provides a great deal of information in an easy-to-use format. Current Honors students can check the handbook and consider requirements, courses and options. Advising procedures are fully explained, for example, and students can make appointments with advisers on line.
Prospective students can also find an introduction to the program along with answers to often-asked questions about advanced placement credit and applying for admission.
Faculty members who are interested in serving as mentors for Honors students can find full information about the mentoring program--goals, procedures, current participants.
The site is built around an elegant new logo designed by UGA art professor Kenneth Williams.
