Capturing economic change
http://www.selig.uga.edu/
The Web site for UGA’s Selig Center for Economic Growth includes the full analysis of minority buying power reported on the front page of this issue of Columns. But there is more.
Under “Most Requested Data” a visitor can find maps of Georgia counties, Georgia metropolitan statistical areas, projected population growth in Georgia counties, and a link to U.S. census maps.
The annual economic outlook report is also available, in portable document format for easy reading or printing.
The ongoing collection of data on housing permits in Georgia has just been updated with figures for 1999. Figures are available by county, by metropolitan statistical area, and for the state as a whole.
