The science library will close at 6 p.m. on Oct. 25 and be closed to the public Oct. 26--during fall break--due to a renovation project on the main floor. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Oct. 27. Anyone needing materials on Oct. 26 can call the science library to make a request. Patrons needing materials should call 542-4535 or 542-0706 or send an e-mail to science@arches.uga.edu. The main library will be open those days as usual.
Pecan sale
The Environmental Health Science Club has begun its annual sale of pecans and cashews. Pecans are $6 per pound and cashews $6.50 per pound. There is a discount of 50 cents per pound on quantities of four pounds or more. Orders must be placed by Oct. 26 and can be picked up between Nov. 13 and 17 in the main hall of the environmental health science building on South Campus. Send orders to theriot@uga.edu. Checks should be sent to the EHS Club, 206 environmental health science building.
