Moss Fellowship deadline
Sarah H. Moss Fellowships for young faculty members at UGA are available beginning in the fall of each academic year. These fellowships are for advanced study in institutions of learning abroad and in the United States. Applications materials are due in the Office of Instructional Support and Development by March 1. Cholesterol screening
February is “Love Your Heart” month at the University Health Center. Cholesterol screening, nutrition and exercise information and smoking-cessation counseling will be available throughout the month. Cholesterol screening will be offered at the health center every Monday and Thursday in February from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m. The screening is free for students and $5 for faculty and staff.
On Feb. 6, faculty and staff can take advantage of a free cholesterol screening at Snelling Hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Health center staff will be there to provide information to help promote heart health.
