On Feb. 21, the Georgia Repertory Theatre will premiere Age of Discovery, a wild and zany play about two fellows named Lewis and Clark and a rock they found.
The play is written by Joseph McDonough, current playwright in residence at both the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival.
Age of Discovery will be presented at the Seney-Stovall Chapel at the Lucy Cobb Institute on Milledge Avenue. Stanley Long-man will direct.
The play will be performed Feb. 21–24 and Feb. 27–March 2 at 8 p.m., and Feb. 25 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets--$15 for regular admission and $12 for students and senior citizens—are on sale at the University Theatre box office in the lobby of the Fine Arts Building. Box office hours are noon–5 p.m. weekdays; the box office phone number is 542-2838.
Tickets will also be available one hour prior to showtime at the door.
