UGA’s women’s golf team and men’s tennis team won NCAA championships in May. With the title won by the women’s swim team in March, UGA has collected three national titles this year.
The tennis tournament, held at UGA, included a “triple crown” for sophomore Matias Boeker. He and teammate Travis Parrott won the doubles championship and then Boeker went on to win the singles title as well.
And in club competition: UGA’s women’s ultimate Frisbee team won the 2001 College Ultimate Championships in Boston on May 27, winning all six of their games.
