Tennessee tops party list
The University of Tennessee at Knoxville has won the years crown as the nations top party school, edging out last years winner, Louisiana State University. The university doubled its title when it also topped the category of most beer drunk.
The Princeton Review asked more than 60,000 students at 331 colleges and universities across the country to rate their own schools. Other chart toppers include Princeton University (best overall academic experience), MIT (most studious), the University of Alabama (least studious) and the University of Richmond (best quality of life).
Dyslexic grad entitled to extra time
Marilyn J. Bartlett, a 53-year-old law-school graduate who has been diagnosed with dyslexia, has failed the New York State bar examination six times over the past 10 years. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Bartlett is entitled to extra time and accommodations on the test, a federal judge has ruled.
The ADA entitles people whose conditions limit at least one life activity to special assistance. The federal judge ruled that Bartletts inability to pass the exam is a result of the states failure to accommodate her reading impairment.
