| Kathy Pharr |
Kathy R. Pharr, who has managed communications for the School of Law for eight years, has become an assistant to UGA President Michael F. Adams.
Pharr succeeds Jackie Kohler, who retired in June. The appointment was effective Aug. 9.
Pharrs responsibilities include serving as liaison with campus units that oversee facilities development and units involved in external affairs. She will work with the Office of University Architects, the UGA Foundation, the UGA Real Estate Foundation and the UGA Alumni Association, and will coordinate with the Office of Development on events and programs involving the president.
She will also help draft correspondence, reports, position papers and policy proposals and serve as a general assistant in other matters.
A 1987 First Honor Graduate of UGAs Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, Pharr is a former television news reporter and anchor in Savannah and Louisville, Ky. Since 1993, she had been director of communications and public relations for the law school.

| Annelies Mondi |
Annelies Mondi has been appointed head registrar for the Georgia Museum of Art. Mondi received a bachelors degree in art history with a minor in German from UGA in 1984. She began her career at the Georgia Museum of Art in 1988 as assistant preparator, then became assistant registrar from 1989 to 1996. In 1996, Mondi became associate registrar, processing new acquisitions, overseeing the storage and conservation needs of the permanent collection and acting as courier for national and international loans. Mondi was appointed interim head registrar in October 2000. As head registrar, She oversees the department of registration.
She is a member of the American Association of Museums, the Registrars Committee of the American Association of Museums, the Southeastern Registrars Association, the Association of College and University Museums and Galleries and the International Council of Museums.
