Mother-infant project
The McPhaul Center is recruiting mothers and their children, aged 12 months or younger, for a study on mother-infant interaction. Children also must be their mothers first child. Participants can earn up to $30 and will receive a complimentary videotape of their childs interaction in the study. For more information, call Natasha Tilson at 583-0031.
Position announcement
The Georgia Museum of Art is seeking candidates for the position of associate director. This position is a full-time, academic professional position (non-tenure track). Candidates should have substantial experience in management with proven leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. A masters degree in business administration and/or significant experience is required, with a masters degree in non-profit management and five or more years experience in a professional management position preferred. Candidates with some knowledge of art history and museums are preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
The associate director serves as the intermediary between the museum director and one or more of the primary staff or line functions of the museum: collections, education and public programs, administration, and development. This position reports to the museum director and acts as principal officer of the museum in the absence of the museum director.
