Alan Godlas, professor of religion at UGA, has compiled information and sites on a Web page designed in part to help Americans learn more about Islam.
In addition to essays dealing explicitly with the relationship between terrorism and Islam, there are books and references organized by topics--maps, women’s rights, Islamic art and music, Islamic history, Sufism, and more. It is a place to begin expanding American understanding of Islam.
