Bulletin board
Reserve deadline
The deadline to submit materials to be placed on reserve at the main and science libraries for spring semester is Nov. 19. Requests and materials submitted by this date will be available for use by the first day of classes on Jan. 7.
Requests and materials received after Nov. 19 will be processed as quickly as possible. Reserve lists may be submitted in person to the reserve desk at the science or main library, or on the Web at www.libs.uga.edu/maincirc/onlinereserve.html.
For additional information, contact the main library (542-0639; mainresv@uga.edu) or the science library (542-4535; sciresv@uga.edu).
UGACard office hours
University IDs are made at the UGACard office in the Tate Student Center. Cost is $7; affinity cards are $10. Photo identification must be provided.
Employees and dependents must be included in the appropriate database before the card can be made; students must complete OASIS registration first. Cards for dependents require submission of a request form at least five working days in advance.
The office is regularly open weekdays, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. It will be closed for Thanksgiving on Nov. 21-23.
For additional information, or to report lost or stolen cards, call 542-8549 or 542-8074.
Tickets online
Online ticket purchasing is now available for mens and womens basketball games and gymnastics meets through the Georgia Athletic Association Web site.
The 24-hour online ticketing service is being provided through an arrangement with FansOnly.com, which hosts the UGA Web site.
To access the new service, go to georgiadogs.com and click on tickets. Currently mens and womens basketball tickets can be ordered; gymnastics will be added to the link in time to order tickets for the 2002 season.
Bulletin board is limited to announcements from campus-based organizations whose membership includes UGA faculty and/or staff.
