Jan Wheeler

The Office of Admission has named Jan Wheeler as its new associate director of admissions for business and operations.
Wheeler will oversee the areas of files management, office communications, the budgetary concerns of the office and the creation of the new admissions office for UGA at the Gwinnett University Center. She comes to the admissions office from the university’s Performing Arts Center where she was facility and house manager and education and outreach coordinator. Along with her experiences handling the large-scale operation of the center, Wheeler also is a former executive director of the Athens YWCO, where she managed a $1.5 million budget and a large staff of employees and volunteers.
“We are thrilled to have Jan joining us,” says Director of Admissions Nancy McDuff. “She brings a variety of skills and talents that match our needs in this position perfectly.”
Wheeler completed her undergraduate studies and M.B.A. at Indiana University.
