Bulletin board
Airline tickets
The University Business Office will now reimburse employees for purchased airline tickets before the conclusion of a trip.
Prior to this change an employee could either buy a ticket from a travel agent for direct billing to the university, or purchase a ticket directly and not be reimbursed until the conclusion of the trip.
This new policy allows an employee to purchase a ticket directly without having to wait for the completion of the trip to get reimbursed.
Employees wishing to take advantage of this change should submit a check request, a copy of their approved travel authority, a travel expense statement, a copy of the airline ticket, and a payment receipt.
All other trip expenses should be submitted for reimbursement at the conclusion of the trip through the normal travel reimbursement process. Employees can continue to charge airline tickets through an authorized agency if desired.

Women in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and between the ages of 18 and 40 are needed for a study in the department of exercise science aimed at better understanding the changes in physical activity and back function that occur during pregnancy.
Participants can receive gift certificates up to $50. For more information, call Melanie at 542-4138.
Bulletin board is limited to announcements from campus-based organizations whose membership includes UGA faculty and/or staff.
