First Business Staff Awards presented to Barbre McLeroy, Elizabeth Pape
At the Business Staff Awards Reception, Barbre McLeroy was awarded the first Terry Achievement Award and Elizabeth Pape was the first recipient of the Terry Community Building Award.
The Terry Achievement Award is designed to recognize Terry College staff members for outstanding performance in carrying out their job responsibilities. McLeroy, who retired in April, was recognized for her leading role in enabling the Terry College to compete technologically in the modern age.
The Terry Community Building Award is given in recognition of a staff members outstanding performance in building the Terry College community.
Pape, a computer services specialist, received the award in recognition of her efforts over the past 25 years to unite the Terry College staff community and to articulate Terry staff concerns and suggestions university-wide.
