UGA responds
www.uga.edu/news/september11

UGA’s news service created this Web site last year to collect the varied community responses to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It is still available.
One segment of the Web site offers descriptions and audio playback of the Richard B. Russell Symposium on Oct. 1, which focused on international security. The keynote speaker was Gen. John R. Galvin, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, Europe; his speech can be heard with the appropriate plug-in for your browser, as can the ambassadors’ roundtable discussion.
Also available are transcripts from several discussion forums held on campus in the days after Sept. 11 and a list of relevant books and other resources.

UGA Today supports QuickTime, Flash, RealPlayer and Acrobat Reader (PDF files).
Download information about these plug-ins.
