Flu shots
The University Health Center will offer flu shots for students, faculty, staff and faculty emeritus beginning Oct. 22. Morning appointments are available from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Walk-in hours are 1-4:30 p.m. The cost is $12 for faculty and staff ($10 for students) and may be paid with cash, check, debit or credit card. The health center will not file insurance for this service; however, they will provide a receipt for your individual filing. You must present a UGA ID for this service.
The health center will also offer flu shots on a walk-in basis at these other sites:
Oct. 24 • Boyd Graduate Studies Research Center • 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Oct. 29 • main library • 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Oct. 31 • physical plant • 8-10 a.m.
Nov. 5 • Ramsey Student Center • 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Nov. 7 • veterinary medicine • 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Nov. 12 • Tate Student Center • 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Payment by cash or check is required at sites outside the health center.

Pecans and cashews
The Environmental Health Science Club is selling fresh pecans and cashews to support their scholarship and community service activities. Orders and payments must be received by Oct. 25 (in room 206, environmental health science building) and nuts may be picked up the week of Nov. 18-22 (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., main hall of environmental health science building). Online ordering is available at www.uga.edu/ehs/ehsclub/pecan.htm.
Cost is $6 per pound of pecan halves and $6.50 per pound of cashews (reduced by 50 cents per pound for orders of more than four pounds). Checks should be made payable to Environmental Health Science Club.

Insurance claims
The responsibility for processing liability and property insurance claims has been transferred from the Accounts Receivable Department to the Administrative Services Division, effective immediately.
Questions regarding university liability or property insurance claims should be addressed to Kathy McCarty, Administrative Services, Auxiliary Services Warehouse (425-3250).

Academic regalia rental
Faculty may rent academic regalia at the University Bookstore for the Dec. 21 Commencement ceremony. Deadline for orders without additional charge is Oct. 25. There is a $10 late fee on orders after Oct. 25 and a $20 fee after Nov. 27. In-time delivery is not guaranteed on orders placed after Oct. 25.

Bulletin board is limited to announcements from campus-based organizations whose membership includes UGA faculty and/or staff.
