The Faculty Affairs Committee of University Council has worked for the past two years to revise UGA’s promotion and tenure guidelines. They have posted a full draft of the proposed revisions at this Web site and are looking for review and comments by faculty.
A comment page is available at src.ibr.uga.edu/surveys/revision/revision1.htm.
The committee especially hopes that faculty will be explicit about what they like and dislike in the proposal, with explanations and suggestions. They expect to revise again once they have comments from faculty and others about this draft. Eventually the proposal will be submitted to the Executive Committee of University Council for consideration.
