Facts and figures galore
www.uga.edu/~irp

The Office of Institutional Research and Planning has been producing each year’s Fact Book about the university for many years, and for the past several years has been posting the final book on the IRP Web site. It is a quick source of comparative statistics about UGA.
But the site offers, as well, information that has not yet been compiled in the annual fact book. How many students majored in drama in spring 2002? Undergraduate majors totaled 138, with 24 M.F.A. students and 11 Ph.D. students. In the School of Marine Programs that semester, 53.3 percent of the students were female. Coffee County sent 79 undergraduates to UGA that semester, and another eight graduate students and eight professional students. Two undergraduates came from Arizona, along with 18 graduate students and two professional students. Five undergraduates came from Albania and four from Indonesia.
