This year’s Black History Month activities at UGA highlight the 100th anniversary of the publication of The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. DuBois. On Feb. 5 at noon in 407 Memorial Hall, faculty members Derrick Alridge (social foundations of education) and Robert Pratt (history) will lead a discussion of this path-breaking book.
Other events scheduled during Black History Month also are listed on the Web site.
