Get your (alternative) motor running

Paul Chambers (far right in the center of the photo), Northeast Georgia district manager for BellSouth, presented seven natural gas vans to Bill Fox of UGA’s Physical Plant last month.
“In a tough budget year, these vans will come in handy,” says Fox. “They’re good for the environment, and they help us grow our fleet of alternative-fuel vehicles.”
A 1981 graduate of UGA’s Grady College, Chambers says his company has “enjoyed a wonderful relationship with UGA over the years. With the increased focus on air quality in Athens, this donation is good for BellSouth and the university.”
