Clinicians, scientists program
The Georgia Cancer Coalition is accepting applications for the Distinguished Cancer Clinicians and Scientists Program. The program recruits leading cancer clinicians and scientists from other states and countries to Georgia research universities, medical and nursing schools, and other institutions. Faculty hired in the 2002-2003 academic year are eligible to apply, as are individuals being recruited to UGA.
Depending upon the level of appointment, the funding range is $50,000-$150,000 per year for five years, and the sponsoring institution must provide at least a dollar-for-dollar match (in salary commitment, start-up funding or provision of resources). Additional information can be found on the GCC Web site (www.georgiacancer.org) or by contacting David Puett, UGA coordinator for the GCC (puett@bmb.uga.edu). Completed applications should be submitted to Puett no later than May 16 and are due May 23 in Atlanta.
Bulletin board is limited to announcements from campus-based organizations whose membership includes UGA faculty and/or staff.
