Ag and environmental sciences names human resources director

Donald McLellan has been named director of the Office of Human Resources in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
The human resources office replaces the personnel staff development office, which primarily served the Cooperative Extension Service. The new office will provide recruitment, job placement, and counseling and training services for the Cooperative Extension Service as well as all CAES academic departments. McLellan has been with UGA since September of 2000, when he became director of the Office of Diversity Relations for CAES. He received a B.S. and M.S. in agribusiness from South Carolina State University. He received a Ph.D. in agricultural education with a focus in administration and supervision from Ohio State University.
McLellan continues to serve as director of the Office of Diversity Relations for CAES in addition to his new responsibilities.
