Personal safety for women
The UGA Police Department and Safe Campuses Now have arranged another two-part program in personal safety for women. Classes are held in the Tate Student Center; all women in the UGA community are eligible. The program begins with a lecture about personal safety for women on Oct. 28, 6-7:30 p.m. A self-defense workshop follows; it is being offered on two different evenings, Nov. 4 or Nov. 11, 5-9 p.m.
The class is free but advance registration is required and space is limited. To register call 354-1115 or e-mail uga@safecampusesnow.org. The series will be offered again in January and again in the spring.

Bulletin board is limited to announcements from campus-based organizations whose membership includes UGA faculty and/or staff.
