A taste of college life: UGA hosts weekend for parents, families
On Oct. 17 and 18, the university will hold its fourth annual Parents and Families Weekend for all parents and families of UGA undergraduate students.
The weekend offers family members an opportunity to visit on their students turf and to experience campus together, says Marjie Graham, director of the Parents and Families Association. The parents of new students, especially, have a whole new set of questions now that their sons and daughters are living away from home.
