Instant updates

When it was learned on Jan. 20 that intruders had gained illegal access to a computer network server at UGA, the university developed this Web site to provide updated information.

As new information becomes available, it is added to the site.

The most recent update explains what has been done to notify undergraduate admission applicants whose files were on the compromised server. In addition there are links to sites dealing with identity theft.
