A (police) force to be reckoned with The public safety division presented awards to several of its employees. In the above photo (from the left), Cpl. Mark Buser was named Uniformed Officer of the Year and Public Safety Employee of the Year, security officer Floyd Downer received the Administrative/Support Staff of the Year Award, senior communications officer Brandon Poarch was named Communications Officer of the Year and Sgt. Allan Hatcher is Plainclothes Officer of the Year. Cpl. Paul Barrick (photo at right) received the Top Gun Award. (Photos by Peter Frey)
