Reviewing disciplinary action and resolving disputes

The dispute resolution policy which had been in effect at UGA since Jan. 1, 1999, has been revised by the Office of Legal Affairs and, after review and comment by the university community, has been adopted by the Cabinet.

The former dispute resolution policy has been split into two policies: a grievance and disciplinary review policy and a dispute resolution policy. Both are effective immediately, and both can be examined on the legal affairs Web site by clicking on the appropriate button.

The Office of Legal Affairs will administer the new policies. Questions may be directed to 542-0006.
