Fall parking registration
Parking permit registration for fall 2004 will be available online from April 19 to June 27.
To register for a permit, go to www.parking.uga.edu and select “Online Account.”

If you currently have an active parking permit and wish to be assigned to the same lot area for next year, complete your customer profile in your online account.

To apply for a different area assignment, you must create new lot selections from the lot selections page in your account.

All 2003–2004 waiting lists will be deleted. Only new (fall 2004) lot selections will be used to issue permits for the coming year.

Grant proposals
The Office of the Vice President for Research is now accepting proposals from UGA faculty for the university-wide engineering grants program. The deadline for proposals is May 28. The guidelines for preparing proposals can be found at www.ovpr.uga.edu/rpph/.

Library reserve lists
The UGA Libraries are now accepting course reserve lists for summer and fall semesters for 2004. For information—course reserve letters, guidelines, submission forms, processing priorities, deadlines and other important dates—see www.libs.uga.edu/maincirc/reserve_letter.html.

The deadline for summer semester reserve lists is April 24. For fall semester, the deadline is July 12.

Lists received after these dates will be processed as quickly as possible according to processing priorities.

May 7 is the deadline for retaining a spring semester list for summer semester.

March signups
The Minority Services and Programs Office invites the university and Athens communities to join “Realize the Promise of Brown v. Board of Education,” a march on Washington, D.C., scheduled for May 15.

The march will mark the 50-year anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education and demand an end to separate and unequal education in America.

The cost to attend the march for UGA students, staff, faculty and alumni is $75. For those beyond the university community the cost is $100. The fee includes lodging and transportation; all other expenses (such as food) are the responsibility of the attendee.

A $25 deposit is due by April 23 with the remaining balance due on May 7. All deposits and fees are nonrefundable.

The UGA participants will leave campus at 1 a.m. May 14. The return trip will begin at 8 p.m. May 15, reaching Athens early the next morning.

For more information, contact Vanessa Smith, 542-5867, vanwms@uga.edu.

Bulletin Board is limited to announcements from campus-based organizations whose membership includes UGA faculty and/or staff.
