Your garden is calling
Georgia gardening guru, call-in radio host and retired UGA Extension
Service agent Walter Reeves introduced a new online gardening service,
“The Georgia Gardener Newsletter,” in February. Every
other week it arrives in subscribers’ e-mail in-boxes, full
of timely landscape information.
“Lots of folks asked about one,” Reeves says. “Not
everybody has time to listen to four hours of radio to get the gardening
answers they need, so we put topical information in one place for
them.”
Reeves, author of several gardening books and the host of WSB-AM
750’s Lawn and Garden Show,
offers expert advice on topics ranging from garden knowledge and
glossary terms to pests and plants of the day.
“We want this to be a place where gardeners can get reliable,
consolidated information,” he says. “Best of all, almost
all of it is based on trustworthy research from the Georgia Extension
Service.”
