April Human Resources newsletter

The latest edition of “HR News,” the online newsletter for employees produced by UGA’s Human Resources Division, is now on the HR Web site. The issue focuses on the resources available to those employees who were laid off earlier this month.

The university’s goal is to place those former employees in a new position if possible, and as a result guidelines for posting and hiring have been modified to make sure that these employees receive first priority in hiring. Links are available on the Web site to the changes in policy and procedures.

Past issues of “HR News” are also available.
