Safe and secure in 2004–05
The university’s Web site covering safety issues has been
updated and now includes crime statistics through 2003 as well as
current security policies.
The UGA Police Department has published a complete report on crime
on campus since 1969. Crimes at off-campus locations occupied or
used primarily by students, as reported by the Athens–Clarke
County Police Department, are also listed. The number of reports
of alcohol, drug and weapons violations which were referred to the
UGA Student Judiciary is reported in a chart. The site also includes
a link to the state sex offender registry from the Georgia Bureau
of Investigation. |
