Cornell University’s Ken Rosenberg visited UGA’s Warnell School of Forest Resources last month to give a first-hand description of the rediscovery of the ivory-billed woodpecker. Complete with video and sound recordings of the bird believed to be extinct for more than 60 years, Rosenberg explained the painstaking process that members of the Cornell team went through to find evidence supporting their claim of rediscovery.

The general public now has the opportunity to view Rosenberg’s presentation on the Web site for the forest resources school. The presentation has been broken down into individual clips that range in length from 3 minutes to 25 minutes. Viewers are welcome to select individual clips or view the entire presentation from their own computer.
