Teaching Fellows deadline
The deadline for electronic submission of applications and nominations for the 2006-2007 Lilly Teaching Fellows program is Feb. 20.
Established in 1984, the Lilly Teaching Fellows Program is designed to provide up to 10 junior tenure-track faculty members with an opportunity to enhance their teaching skills by sharing teaching strategies, interacting with senior faculty mentors who are outstanding teachers and designing and implementing instructional projects to strengthen each Fellow’s courses and teaching methods.
Candidates must be in their first, second or third year at the university, and have demonstrated a strong commitment to teaching and the improvement of teaching at UGA. Approximately 20 applicants will be selected for personal interviews; and up to 10 Lilly Fellows will be selected from that group.
Detailed information about the Lilly Fellows Program as well as application/nomination forms may be obtained online (http://www.isd.uga.edu), or by calling the Center for Teaching and Learning (542-1355).
