Suite named for Honors Program benefactor

The director’s suite of the Honors Program was recently named for Sheffield Hale, a longtime benefactor of the program. A UGA alumnus—and former Honors Program participant—Hale has given gifts to support the Lothar Tresp Lecture and the Honors Program’s alumni outreach efforts. Hale, corporate counsel for the American Cancer Society, is a trustee of the Arch Foundation. He also serves on the advisory board of the Honors Program.
