Roosevelt Policy Symposium 
The inaugural Roosevelt Policy Symposium will be held 4-6 p.m. April 22 in room 348 of the Student Learning Center. Presented by the Roosevelt Institution, UGA’s chapter of the nation’s first student-led think tank, the symposium will offer public policy proposals for the U.S. government. Major scholarships presentation
The Honors Program will present an information session on major scholarships on April 19 at 3:45 p.m. in the Chapel. The presentation will include a discussion of the role of major collegiate and post-graduate scholarships in students’ academic and professional development as well as overviews of the Fulbright, Gates-Cambridge, Goldwater, Marshall, National Security Education Program, National Science Foundation, Rhodes and Truman scholarships.

Students should have a GPA of 3.70 or higher to be competitive for these scholarships. The program is free and open to all students; membership in the Honors Program is not a requirement.
