The best source for news and trends in higher education could come from students and teachers.

Taking this as initiative, the Center for Teaching and Learning at UGA has started a Web log for open posts about various and sundry ideas around academe, including course management systems, distance education, new media, teaching tips and Podcasting.

The Center for Teaching and Learning (formerly the Office of Instructional Support and Development) created the site with the hopes of setting up a lively Web commons where anyone can share pertinent information and link to resources.
