Tailgate update

uga.edu/gameday/tailgating.html

To keep tailgating both fun and safe—and to avoid damage to campus that has occurred on past home football Saturdays—UGA has provided new gameday tailgating guidelines.

This Web site fully explains the new rules, from setup times (none before 7 a.m. on Saturday) to the use of UGA resources (bring your own power—no unauthorized power and cable hookups).

The site also offers interactive and printable maps to help tailgaters deal with parking and traffic, as well as information on UGA Campus Transit and dining options courtesy of UGA Food Services.

Another map helpfully identifies the new, alcohol-free
Family-Friendly Zones. A “Frequently Asked Questions” page addresses common questions.
