TAKING FLIGHT— To better understand the Marine Corp recruitment process and to advise students who come to them with questions, two employees from the law school and two from the Career Center took part recently in a 20-minute flight around campus. From left: 2nd Lt. Cody Thacker and Capt. Greg Mikesell of the USMC Officer Selection Office in Norcross; Capt. P.R. Herschelman, who is based at Parris Island, S.C.; Michelle Carter and Jimmy Richardson of UGA’s Career Center; and Ramsey Henderson and Beth Kirch of Legal Career Services at the law school. (Photo by Paul Efland) MASS CASUALTY DRILL—As a test of local traffic control during an emergency, UGA employees took part in a mass casualty drill last month with a local hospital and the Athens-Clarke County police department.
