Sen. Saxby Chambliss will speak at undergraduate Commencement
Sen. Saxby Chambliss
U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss will deliver the address for the fall semester undergraduate Commencement at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 15 in Stegeman Coliseum. The graduate ceremony, to be held at 2:30 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum, will feature speaker M. Terry Coffey, who earned his Ph.D. in animal science/nutrition from UGA and is president of production operations East for N.C.-based Murphy-Brown LLC.

The ceremonies are being held on Friday rather than the usual Saturday because of Hanukkah, which begins at sunset Dec. 15.

The following lots have been reserved for graduates, their guests and other participants in commencement: W12, S05, S11, S12, S10, S14 and S16.

Permit holders for these lots are asked not to park in them at any time Dec. 15. Instead, they can park in decks NO6, WO9, E04, E05 and W05. In addition, all other surface lots will be open to all drivers, including the following lots: W08, W10, W11, W06, E06 and E07.

Handicapped parking will be in lot S12 at the corner of Sanford Drive and Smith Street.
