Credit union move
The UGA branch of the Georgia Federal Credit Union at 1491 S. Lumpkin St. has relocated to 1710 S. Lumpkin St. in Five Points. The new location features drive-through windows, a new, covered ATM and more parking for members. In addition to serving faculty and staff, the credit union now serves students and alumni.

Heat wave tips
Due to the recent heat wave, the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness and the University Health Center have released a list of guidelines, signs and first aid treatment for heat-related illnesses. Available online (www.osep.uga.edu/), the tips encourage anyone spending time outdoors to take precautions and observe others. Employees and campus visitors required to spend time outdoors should be monitored carefully for any signs of heat-related illness.

Hydrobics classes offered
This fall Recreational Sports will offer a class combining no-impact aerobic and muscle conditioning workouts. From Aug. 20–24, there will be a free trial of the class. Participants may come to any class time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:15–7:15 a.m.; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12:10–12:50 p.m. or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 5:45–6:45 p.m. In-person registration at the Ramsey Center is required, and participants must meet the abilities of all swimming and fitness levels. The class costs $50 for students, $70 for staff and $80 for alumni. It runs through Dec. 7. For more information, call (706) 542-5060.
