BEARS &BUGS

From millipedes to camels, April 4 was an animal extravaganza on campus as the College of Veterinary Medicine held its annual open house and the H.O. Lund Entomology Club held its 23rd annual Insect Zoo.

Prospective Veterinary Medicine school student Erin Lashnits from California puckers up to kiss a camel at the College of Veterinary Medicine Open House. The event included exotic animals, a parade of dog breeds, a rodeo demonstration and veterinary hospital tours.

The event let children bring in “hurt” stuffed animals to be mended by vet school students.
