‘Colors of Time” on display

Graduate students Annette Lewis (left) and Ajoy Sarkar look at “The Colors of Time: A History of Color in Textiles,” a traveling exhibit developed by DyStar LP. On display through mid-September in the foyer of Dawson Hall, which houses the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, the six-panel exhibit provides students with information on dyestuff usage throughout history with a goal of encouraging more students to consider a career in textiles. DyStar currently provides an annual $4,000 scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in textiles in the department of textiles, merchandising and interiors at UGA. Photo by Peter Frey.
