Flu shots
Flu shots will be available at the University Health Center, in the Specialty Clinic on the second floor, for all faculty, staff and emeritus faculty. The flu clinic will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Oct. 29 through Nov. 19, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of the shot is $15. No appointment is necessary. The University Health Center is accessible by two campus bus routes. Patients who wish to drive may park in the adjacent lot and obtain a parking token at the flu clinic. Self-defense class
The UGA Women’s Law Students Association and the Sexual Assault Center of Northeast Georgia are sponsoring a self-defense class for women. Participants will practice psychological, verbal and physical self-defense techniques. The three-session class will be held on Wednesdays--Nov. 4, 11 and 18--from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in room 205 of the Ramsey Student Center. For more information or to register, call 353-1912.

Peanut sale
The UGA Agronomy Club is now taking orders for roasted Georgia peanuts. Cost is $8 for a four-pound can of lightly salted redskins or skinless peanuts. Orders may be picked up Nov. 3-5, between noon and 6 p.m., in the parking lot at the corner of Carlton Street and Brooks Drive, across from the front entrance to the Miller Plant Science Building. To place an order, call 354-7020.
