RELATIONS--Juan Williams,
Washington Post correspondent and
author of Eyes on the Prize, delivered
the annual Holmes-Hunter Lecture Nov. 10.
Later that day he spoke at a public forum on
race relations in the Chapel. He urged Americans
to be alert to lingering stereotypes, whether of a
particular race or of racial issues, and suggested
that analysis and honest discussion of race relations
and civil rights has faded and needs to be revived
in American society.
